Mommy Vloggers

I find mom vlogs to be very relaxing. Especially the ones with a muted color palette, food made from scratch, calm voices, and beautiful lighting. Part of it might be that I wish I had a childhood similar to what I see on YouTube. But the moms self-profess that they don’t show everything on their channels. They leave out tantrums, screaming, and other embarrassing things and rightly so. The problem is that my brain keeps going along with what’s presented online as the full picture. The bigger problem is that many of these family channels have the unfortunate habit of discussing their religious beliefs and show indoctrination of their children, too. I wish there were more atheist and agnostic mom vloggers so I could feel more seen. We don’t have to be religious in order to be good moms and parents!

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Make it stand out.
